This is a comprehensive training package for all high school athletes created by an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Connecticut Certified Physical Education and Health Teacher.
5 Phases
a. Introductory Phase 1 (4 weeks/4 days a week)
b. Strength/Hypertrophy Phase (4 weeks/4 days a week)
c. Peak phase I ( 4 weeks/3 days a week)
d. Peak phase II (4 weeks/3 days a week)
e. In-season (2 days per week)
Using Exercise Science Principles
a. Linear Periodization
b. Undulating Periodization
c. 5/3/1, 5x5, and Progressive overload techniques
d. Many other methods are used as well.
